Star Citizen 3.15 release date drama is a real thing, and it’s been going on for over a year now. The latest update to the game has left many players with a bad taste in their mouth, but if you’re still playing SC, this will be one of the most exciting updates yet.
Welcome to a Star Citizen Combined Drama, News, and Review of the Week, as well as a preview of what’s to come this week… It’s September 14th, 2021, and we’re gearing ready for CitizenCon 2951… Let’s get started.
We had an unusual Turbulent Tweet that generated some controversy…
They were celebrating the completion of Star Citizen Hospitals and the opening of Turbulent’s Star Citizen Focused Studio in Montreal, which was developing Star Systems.
They also said that in the Alpha 3.15 release on October 22nd, Hospital Spaces such as the Orison Exam Room would be accessible… Don’t forget about the Annual CitizenCon 2951 on October 9th, when many long-awaited improvements for the space simulation computer game will be introduced.
The issue here is that a patch’s release date was provided.
On Reddit, Zyloh reacted to this:
“Hello everyone – With this social post, someone seems to have jumped the gun, and it will most likely be deleted shortly. I wouldn’t put too much faith in the substance of this post. Sorry for ruining the fun! <3”
I think the goal release date for LIVE 3.15 should be around the 22nd of October, with an Open PTU around CitizenCon if feasible. Only time will tell whether this is true. Even so, Turbulent’s tweet with that date in it is strange… since it would have been a company-wide goal… hmmm
I’m extremely interested to see what they’re talking about regarding many long-awaited features that will be implemented rather than SHOWN at CitizenCon… Maybe that was a slip of the tongue?
What are our plans for the week?
On Thursday, Inside Star Citizen will concentrate on the new inventory mechanisms in Alpha 3.15, as we get closer to completely physicalized goods and inventory management.
Due to CitizenCon filming, Star Citizen Live was once again canceled on Friday. ALSO, it should be returning next week.
In addition, CI said
“For those who will undoubtedly wonder what we’re shooting, CitizenCon will include both live and pre-recorded elements,” says the organizer. Given the epidemic, this year’s exhibition is very unusual for us, so we’ve had to be a little creative!”
Next week, we’ll get a “complete schedule” for CitizenCon, which will be fantastic to see since it will allow for much more concentrated speculation…
The CitizenCon Video Contest is now closed… CIG had a lot of submissions for it, apparently. Many of the submissions will be shown during CitizenCon’s Live Event… I created one with Zinya as well, in the hopes that it would be selected. They’re just 45 seconds long… so expect to see a lot of them throughout the performance!
The Ship Showdown is well underway, and some of the winners have been determined using the following criteria:
The Caterpillar is defeated by the Hercules C2.
The Mole is defeated by the Reclaimer.
The Argo Cargo is victorious against the Freelancer Max.
And, most recently, the 600i Explorer narrowly defeated the Cutlass Black!
Make sure to come back each day to view the most up-to-date lineup; it seems that the Retaliator will defeat the Banu Defender today.
All 16 of the Ship Showdown Ships are now available for pledge in the shop.
Starting on September 20th, there will be a freefly… So be prepared for it as well.
Intriguingly, CIGs Zyloh stated:
“It’s a friendly wager. If the ARGO Cargo defeats the Carrack in the next round, I’ll put on ARGO cosmetics and tweet a photo.
That’s how certain I am of my Carrack destroying this monster in round 2.”
I was certain the Carrack would win outright… However, with a tweet like that… It’s quite likely that he’ll have orange on his face.
This week’s Sneak Peek is… well, I’m not sure… We’re going to get this thing moving, says the caption. There’s also the phrase “machinery may move unexpectedly.”
It may simply be some sort crows equipment or one of the new sites, but I’ve seen others suggest that it’s landing gear for a new ship or a turret.
Maybe it’s a piece of a crane or a forklift. It may possibly be a component of the cydnus mining tick, according to Zin. What are your thoughts?
Last week, we looked into medical gameplay in Star Citizen.
It was revealed that Alpha 3.15 would have a downed state, allowing you to be rescued and resurrected. There are a variety of medicines and medical equipment available to treat injuries temporarily, and you’ll need to go to a hospital to have injuries to your head, chest, or limbs treated. Your BDL is also crucial.
Star Citizen is a space trading and combat simulator video game developed by Cloud Imperium Games. The 3.15 release date drama was a recent controversy surrounding the release of the jump points update for Star Citizen. Reference: jump points star citizen.
