All new Summoner abilities and spells in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker 6.0 update

Final Fantasy XIV brings with it a new expansion and overhaul to its entire game. With this update, players can expect even more content on top of the exciting main storyline that has been introduced in Final Fantasy XIV 6.0 patch.

The “ffxiv summoner” is a job class in the game Final Fantasy XIV. The new abilities and spells in the update will make it easier for players to level up.

Following the Endwalker expansion in Final Fantasy XIV’s 6.0 release, Summoner has seen the most modifications. It may take some time to adjust if you’ve been playing Summoner for a long time. We suggest testing out all of the new spells and abilities in dungeons you’ve already played or on a strike dummy. All of Final Fantasy XIV’s new Summoner skills and spells are listed here.

Actions on the Job

  • Summon a Carbuncle at level 2.
    • Carbuncle is summoned to your side.
  • Radiant Aegis (Level 2)
    • Carbuncle is given the task of executing Radiant Aegis.
    • Radiant Aegis Effect: Forms a shield around yourself that absorbs damage up to 20% of your maximum HP.
    • 30s in length
    • Charges Maximum: 2
    • Only when Carbuncle is summoned can this be done.
  • Aethercharge (Level 6)
    • Aethercharge is granted, boosting the potency of Ruin, Ruin II, and Ruin III by 50 percent and Outburst by 20 percent.
    • 15s in length
    • Grants Ruby Arcanum, Topaz Arcanum, and Emerald Arcanum as a bonus effect.
    • Can only be used when Carbuncle is summoned and in battle.
  • Summon Ruby at level 6
    • Glittering Ruby is summoned and ordered to be executed by Ruby Carbuncle.
    • Glittering Ruby Effect: Rushes the target and inflict 400% fire damage.
    • Additional effect: 2 stacks of Fire Attunement are granted.
    • Effect of Fire Attunement: Gemshine and Precious Brilliance take on a fire aspect.
    • Can only be used when Carbuncle is summoned and Ruby Arcanum is in effect.
  • Gemshine (Level 6)
    • To attack your foe, channel the forces of your active elemental attunement.
    • Deal fire damage to a single target with the Fire Attunement Effect.
    • Deal earth damage to a single target with the Earth Attunement effect.
    • Deal wind damage to a single target with the Wind Attunement effect.
  • Ruby Ruin (Level 6)
    • With a potency of 300, it does fire damage.
    • Cost of Fire Attunement: 1
    • It is not possible to put it on a hotbar.
  • Summon Topaz at level 15
    • Topaz Carbuncle is summoned and told to kill Glittering Topaz.
    • Glittering Topaz Effect: Rushes the target and causes 400 points of earth damage.
    • Additional effect: 4 stacks of Earth Attunement are granted.
    • Effect of Earth Attunement: Gemshine and Precious Brilliance take on an earthy tone.
    • 30s in length
    • Can only be used when Topaz Arcanum is active and Carbuncle has been summoned.
  • Topaz Ruin (Level 15)
    • With a potency of 240, it does earth damage.
    • Cost of Earth Attunement: 1
    • It is not possible to put it on a hotbar.
  • Summon Emerald at level 22.
    • Emerald Carbuncle is summoned and given the task of executing Glittering Emerald.
    • Wind damage is dealt using the Glittering Emerald Effect, which has a potency of 400.
    • Additional Effect: 4 stacks of Wind Attunement are granted.
    • Wind Attunement Effect: Gemshine and Precious Brilliance are affected by the wind.
    • Can only be used when the Emerald Arcanum is active and Carbuncle is summoned.
  • Emerald Ruin (Level 22)
    • With a potency of 160, it deals wind damage.
    • Cost of Wind Attunement: 1
    • It is not possible to put it on a hotbar.
  • Precious Brilliance (Level 26)
    • To strike several foes, channel the energy of your current elemental attunement.
    • Effect of Fire Attunement: Deal fire damage to a target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Effect of Earth Attunement: Deal earth damage to a target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Effect of Wind Attunement: Deal wind damage to a target and all opponents in its vicinity.
  • Ruby Outburst (Level 26)
    • Fire damage with a potency of 140 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Cost of Fire Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Topaz Outburst (Level 26)
    • Earth damage with a potency of 110 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Cost of Earth Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Emerald Outburst (Level 26)
    • Wind damage with a potency of 70 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Cost of Wind Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Summon Ifrit at level 30.
    • Ifrit-Egi is summoned and given the task of executing Inferno.
    • Inferno Effect: Rushes forward, doing fire damage to all foes in a 5-yalm cone in front of it, with a potency of 600 for the first enemy and 60% for the rest.
    • Additional effect: 2 stacks of Fire Attunement are granted.
    • Effect of Fire Attunement: Gemshine and Precious Brilliance take on a fire aspect.
    • Ifrit’s Favor is increased as a result of this effect.
    • When specified summoner activities are completed, the effect of Ifrit’s Favor ceases.
    • Can only be used when the Ruby Arcanum is active and Carbuncle is summoned.
  • Ruby Ruin II (Level 30)
    • With a potency of 340, it does fire damage.
    • Cost of Fire Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Topaz Ruin II (Level 30)
    • With a potency of 270, it does earth damage.
    • Cost of Earth Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Emerald Ruin II (Level 30)
    • With a potency of 170, it deals wind damage.
    • Cost of Wind Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Summon Titan at level 30.
    • Titan-Egi is summoned and ordered to conduct Earthen Fury.
    • Earthen Fury Effect: Rushes forward and does earth damage to all foes within 5 yalms, with a potency of 600 for the first enemy and 60% for the rest.
    • Additional effect: 4 stacks of Earth Attunement are granted.
    • Effect of Earth Attunement: Gemshine and Precious Brilliance take on an earthy tone.
    • Can only be used when Topaz Arcanum is active and Carbuncle has been summoned.
  • Summon Garuda at level 45.
    • Garuda-Egi is summoned and ordered to perform Aerial Blast.
    • Aerial Blast Effect: Deals wind damage to the target and all foes within 5 yalms, with a potency of 600 for the first enemy and 60% for the rest.
    • Additional Effect: 4 stacks of Wind Attunement are granted.
    • Wind Attunement Effect: Gemshine and Precious Brilliance are affected by the wind.
    • Garuda’s Favor is granted as an additional effect.
    • The effect of Garuda’s Favor ceases after specific summoner acts are completed.

  • Ruby Ruin III (Level 54)
    • With a potency of 360, it does fire damage.

  • Topaz Ruin III (Level 54)
    • With a potency of 300, this spell does earth damage.
    • Cost of Earth Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Emerald Ruin III (Level 54)
    • With a potency of 180, it deals wind damage.
    • Cost of Wind Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Astral Impulse (Level 58)
    • With a potency of 430, it does unaffected damage.
    • This ability may only be used when in Dreadwyrm Trance.
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Astral Flare (Level 58)
    • Target and any opponents around take unaffected damage with a potency of 180.
    • This ability may only be used when in Dreadwyrm Trance.
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Astral Flow (Level 60)
    • To conduct one of numerous tasks, channel the energies of your active trance or elemental favor.
    • Action adjustments to Deathflare as a result of the Dreadwyrm Trance Effect.
    • Effect of the Firebird Trance: Changes in Action to Rekindle
    • Ifrit’s Favor Changes the Action to Crimson Cyclone
    • Mountain Buster becomes the action as a result of Titan’s Favor.
    • Action adjustments to Slipstream as a result of Garuda’s Favor Effect.
  • Searing Light (Level 66)
    • Carbuncle is given the task of executing Searing Light.
    • Damage delivered by self and neighboring party members is increased by 3% with the Searing Light Effect.
    • Can only be used when Carbuncle is summoned and in battle.
  • Ruby Rite (Level 72)
    • With a potency of 430, it does fire damage.
    • Cost of Fire Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Topaz Rite (Level 72)
    • With a potency of 330, it does earth damage.
    • Titan’s Favor is granted as an additional effect.
    • Titan’s Favor’s effect stops after specific summoner tasks are completed.
    • Cost of Earth Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Emerald Rite (Level 72)
    • With a potency of 230, it deals wind damage.
    • Cost of Wind Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Tri-disaster (Level 74)
    • Target and any opponents around take unaffected damage with a potency of 120.
  • Ruby Disaster (Level 74)
    • Fire damage with a potency of 170 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Cost of Fire Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Topaz Disaster (Level 74)
    • Target and all opponents within a radius of 130 yards take 130 points of earth damage.
    • Cost of Earth Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Emerald Disaster (Level 74)
    • Wind damage with a potency of 90 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Cost of Wind Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Summon Phoenix at level 80.
    • Enters Firebird Trance and summons Demi-Phoenix to battle beside you, who immediately performs Everlasting Flight.
    • After summoning, Demi-Phoenix will immediately use Scarlet Flame on the targets you’ve struck.
    • When Demi-Phoenix is called, it increases the target’s hostility.
    • Changes Ruin III to Fountain of Fire and Tri-disaster to Brand of Purgatory as an added effect.
    • Grants Ruby Arcanum, Topaz Arcanum, and Emerald Arcanum as a bonus effect.
    • Can only be used when Carbuncle is summoned and in battle.
  • Rekindle (Level 80)
    • HP of the owner or a target party member is restored.
    • Potency of Cure: 400
    • Rekindle is granted to the target as an additional effect.
    • 30s in length
    • When your HP drops below 75% or your effect duration expires, the Rekindle Effect heals you over time.
    • Only possible when in the Firebird Trance.
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Ruby Castrophe (Level 82)
    • Fire damage with a potency of 180 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Cost of Fire Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Topaz Catastrophe (Level 82)
    • Earth damage with a potency of 140 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Titan’s Favor is granted as an additional effect.
    • Titan’s Favor’s effect stops after specific summoner tasks are completed.
    • Cost of Earth Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Emerald Catastrophe (Level 82)
    • Wind damage with a potency of 100 is dealt to the target and all opponents in its vicinity.
    • Cost of Wind Attunement: 1
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Crimson Cyclone (Level 86)
    • Rushes forward, unleashing a fire strike on the target and all adjacent foes, with a potency of 430 for the first adversary and 65 percent for the rest.
    • Only possible when under the influence of Ifrit’s Favor.
    • It is not possible to perform when bound.
    • Upon execution, the action turns to Crimson Strike.
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Crimson Strike (Level 86)
    • With a potency of 430 for the first adversary and 65 percent less for all subsequent adversaries, does fire damage to the target and all enemies around.
    • Crimson Cyclone’s Combo Action
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Mountain Buster (Level 86)
    • Deals earth damage to the target and all adjacent foes, with a potency of 150 for the first adversary and 70% less for the rest.
    • Only possible when under the influence of Titan’s Favor.
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Slipstream (Level 86)
    • Wind damage is dealt to the victim and all adjacent foes, with a potency of 430 for the first adversary and 65 percent less for the rest.
    • Additional Effect: Conveys a whirlwind around the target, inflicting damage on any opponents that enter.
    • Only possible when under the influence of Garuda’s Favor.
    • It’s not possible to place it on a hotbar.
  • Summon Infrit II at level 90.
    • Summons Ruby Ifrit commands Inferno to be carried out.
    • Inferno Effect: Deals fire damage to the target and all foes within 5 yalms, with a potency of 700 for the first enemy and 60% for the rest.
